Abstract:
Abstract So far, the evolution of separate genres in pre-revolutionary Don history-describing hasn’t been analyzed. This article studies the evolution of the most important genre of this history-describing: statistical/statistical-historical description. 5 attempts (3 successful and 2 unsuccessful) of such descriptions are analyzed: undertaken by V.D. Sukhorukov and his assistants in the 1820s; by the Novocherkassk Statistical Committee in the 1830s; by N.I. Krasnov in the 1860s; by S.F. Nomikosov in the 1870s–1880s and by I.P. Popov in the 1900s. The article shows that successful attempts of creating statistical descriptions coincided with periods of heated public discussions and the descriptions themselves were politicized. On the contrary, the attempts at making statistical descriptions during the periods of relative tranquility were unsuccessful. In general, the evolution of this genre went from it being scientific to becoming journalistic, because of which, by the beginning on the 20th century, it lost its meaning and was replaced by the genre of essay.

Abstract:
Statistical reports held in the collections of the Federal Subject Statistics Departments represent valuable information, as they are available even for entities whose collections are missing from the archives or have been lost by the originator. This paper attempts to reconstruct the evolution of the fleet of the Kamlesosplav Trust's Sarapul Roads. This entity is of interest because the archives of the Udmurt Republic only contain its reports up to 1948, while statistical reports are available for a longer period. It is shown that, in addition to Form 26-vod, Form 2 "Equipment Composition" or a similar form, as well as the explanatory note to the report, are also of greatest value. However, it has previously been concluded that the reconstruction method based on statistical reports is most effective when the fleet composition does not exceed five units. This assumption was also confirmed for the Sarapul Roads. While his fleet numbered no more than five units, they were easily identified, but as soon as it grew larger, identification became impossible without additional sources.

Abstract:
This article explores the theoretical foundations and practical implementation of the Innovative Multimodular Mnemo-Cognitive ESL Training Program (MMC Program), developed to overcome the challenges of linguistic passivity, fragmented knowledge, and exam-centered formalism typical of traditional language education. The program is based on a spiral instructional model combining four interconnected modules: Survival Skills, System, Project-Based Learning, and Public Speaking. Each module integrates cognitive comprehension strategies, mnemonic tools for long-term retention, and functional communication. The program was piloted from 2020 to 2025 with a cohort of 408 learners of varying ages and proficiency levels. The study employed observation, diagnostics, questionnaires, and expert analysis of student output. The results indicate significant improvements in grammatical accuracy, increased speaking confidence, reduced anxiety, and high levels of learner autonomy in project and public presentation tasks. The paper highlights the program’s scalability and potential for digital integration.

Abstract:
This article examines artificial intelligence (AI) as an author and content creator. It raises the question of whether AI-powered works can be considered art, and whether AI can become a fully-fledged creator capable of replacing humans in the media labor market. It also examines the role of modern AI in media content creation and its impact on creative output. The author summarizes her practical experience working in the media and the opinions of industry experts to outline the potential impact of AI on the future of media. It is concluded that the use of AI in design, addressing authorship issues, can be considered ethical. Currently, AI creates works unconsciously; it is not the author, but rather serves as an indispensable assistant to the designer. The author may be the person using it and/or the person designing the AI. However, the resulting work must be finalized by the artist themselves. Currently, AI is not capable of completely replacing human labor in creating media content. However, in the future, if AI can independently comprehend existence and convey this understanding to viewers through art, it will become a fully-fledged creator, capable of both authorship and full-fledged competition with humans. Nevertheless, the likelihood of AI completely replacing humans is low, as humans, in a global sense, primarily require human experience in understanding the universe.
